Fusio: Branding and Positioning
The Context:
Fusio is a modern Italian restaurant and bar in Oerlikon, Zurich. They are best known for their Pizza Napoletana. Fusio is located close to many large office buildings, thus attracting a young audience who comes into the restaurant for lunch or a post-work dinner and drinks.
The Brief:
While Fusio had a logo, they were missing the rest of their identity. Before they could launch, they also required brand strategy in place to ensure all their communication was cohesive and seamless.
The Brand Strategy:
“Il dolce far niente” translates to the sweetness of doing nothing.
It's central to Italy, its people, and their culture.
It's not something that needs to be earned after a hard day at work
It means slowing down to appreciate the finer things in life.
The things that truly make life worth living.
